As tomorrow sees the launch of the newly merged College, it means today is the last ever day of West Kent College!
Not much will be changing in terms of the College - we’ll have new ID cards, a different email address, things like that - but the day-to-day teaching will be unaffected and we’ll just be the same College with a different name.
A number of people have asked why we need to change the name and we’re doing it because we feel that the new, merged College of South Kent and West Kent needed a new name and identity to take forward as one brand new College, taking the best of both and hopefully moving forward to be the best in our field.

Met your future husband or wife? Worked here? Many thousands of people have studied and worked at West Kent College so let’s not forget the great times that people have had here.
